YUNOMI (湯のみ) TEACUPS

In Japanese,  "yunomi"  translates to "teacup" refers to cylindrical tea cups without handles used for everyday tea drinking. Unlike more formal chawan 茶碗 (teabowls) which are lower and wider,  used in tea ceremonies, yunomi are common everyday cups for various types of tea.
